ET Phone Home

Well, maybe not ET. I've got access to a really cheap phone card and would like to catch up with some people back at home. I do realise that for you all life goes on and you still get to see everyone except myself and Adie, but we are not in the same boat and wouldn't mind even a ten minute call to say hi.

So, if you'd like a quick catch-up, email us and tell us a day that would suit. Noshie can call people on (your time) Monday nights from 7pm onwards, Saturday 6am - 11am or 7pm onwards and Sunday 6am - 11am or 7pm onwards. Adie is only available for the Saturday or Sunday times.

If you don't know my email, shame on you. Just leave a note on here and email you with the details.

  • Wifey would certainly love to hear from you. (I couldn't care less.)

    Hehe.

She'd be delighted to hear from you on Mondays from 7pm our time (the closer to 7pm the better). If that's cool, she'll be very happy. Cheers!

  • Yay! I will call this Monday 6th. I only work a four day week see. I'll set my alarm so that I am punctual and everyfink.

  • This is great! I'm not even going to tell her. I'll just casually ask her to get the phone when it rings at 7pm on Monday, which will make it a lovely surprise.

So, just to clarify, this is 7pm Monday Melbourne time, right?

She'll be so happy - she was quite upset about missing you last time.

  • Oh, you sneaky. :) Nice sneaky.

Of course I'd love to have a chat with you both (time for me to have a talk with the UK instead of Logan for a change!). We've got someone coming over on Saturday afternoon and staying overnight so this weekend's a bit difficult.

How about Sunday morning 9am? That would be 8pm UK time which wouldn't be too bad.

But only if you're not going outside to use a pay phone, otherwise, I'll call you.

  • Bevis... sounds fantastic. She should be reading my blog though!!! Only kidding. It's enough that one of you does. And yes, that's 7pm Melbourne time.

Riss... no problem. We go to an internet cafe and sit in a little, but warm, booth to make the call. So, we'll call on Sunday morning your time!

  • She does, but I know she won't have a chance to jump online between now and then, so I can post this info here in absolute confidence that your phone call will surprise her. She's a busy bee this weekend!

We'll hear from you in about 37 hours!

  • Lovely to hear you both! Sorry I kept you up so late and that I wasn't quite ready when you called. I'm glad we got to have a bit of a catch up 'cause I've missed you. It's made me think, though, that you're one quarter of the way through and I feel a bit better because of that. Adie's job sounds fun - write more please. Let us know how you get on with the people at Boots as well.

Lots of love and hugs and stuff.
    Me.

  • Wifey was really happy for the rest of the night after speaking with you. Sorry I didn't get a chance to have a word myself! But that's fine; I'm glad she could speak with you at such length. It made her week. :)

  • Me too! It's so nice to talk to you all. It's one thing to read messages, but that's nothing compared to actual live conversation. Next time I'mm talk to you too Bevis. ;)
